U.S. Orienteering Team Headed to World Games in Cali, Colombia

U.S. Team members Eric Bone, Alison Crocker, Samantha Saeger, and Ross Smith will meet top orienteers in the world for elite competion in Colombia at the World Games. The World Games take place every four years and feature sports not yet included in the Olympics.

Opening ceremonies take place July 25th. Beginning August 2,  the top orienteers of the world will fight for medals in Sprint, Middle distance and Sprint relay in Cali, Colombia. The previous World Games in Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei in 2009 were a huge success, and the IOF are aiming to make the orienteering competitions in this 2013 edition of The Games an even bigger event.
